Kitchen with a bar in a beautiful Victorian house in Brussels. The look and feel of the historical house has been transposed into the colours and materials of the new kitchen. One can see the magical impact of our Scandinavian vintage lighting trough the whole ground floor. Cosy light makes all the difference and that is what we are specialised in. (The picture of the facade of the house has been removed upon request by the owners for privacy matters)

The Grimbergen house

This family house in Grimbergen was bought, elaborated and transformed around 2020. The owner gave me a “carte blanche” for the furniture and lighting in the whole house. We ended with a mix of my favourite French, Danisch and Italian furniture and lamps. It became a pretty pure, zen, warm and woody minimalistic project….that i’m so grateful to have had the chance to realise together with my fantastic team!

Appartement O.D.

This ground floor loft appartement in the old maritime city centre of Brussels was the owners old photo editing studio.
He asked me to give it a woody and masculine touch and he added he liked marbled kitchens and gave me carte blanche.

Limited budget and little sunlight where about the only restrictions.

As always i looked at the original elements, architecture and materials to get inspired. I decided to keep the original floors and chose to go for a monochrome oak finishing with all fixed and lose furniture. In the kitchen and the office part we used asymmetrical tabletops in order to emphasise the fluidity of movement and space. The subtile colourpallet and many other small details where inspired by some of my favourite 20 century architects and designers.

Het Anker Ldc.

Totaalrenovatie van een gebouw in de Begijnhofwijk, vlakbij Sint-Katelijne en de Vismarkt hartje Brussel.

Volledig gestript, enkel betonstructuur werd bewaard. Op het gelijkvloers kreeg buurtrestaurant Het Anker een plaats, een project in sociale economie (werkervaringstraject voor mensen ver verwijderd van de arbeidsmarkt).Voor de inrichting van het restaurant, waar de klemtoon ligt op ontmoeting én lekker eten, werd gekozen voor gerecycleerde horeca meubelen in hout (vierkante eettafels met eiken blad, grote collectieve tafel aan de inkom) en de stapelbare “Flex” stoelen ontworpen door Gerd Lange voor Thonet.

De eerder functionele verlichting uit het lastenboek werd aangevuld met sfeerverlichting in de ruimte aan de tuinzijde. In samenwerking met Stadt Architecten.

Penthouse M. Antwerp

Initially i was invited to redo the lighting of this beautiful duplex penthouse appartement in the very centre of Antwerp.
So i replaced most of the cold led spotlights by warmer and intimate, mostly Scandinavian lamps knowing that the owner is a night owl.
Secondarily i proposed to do some minor decorative interventions to make the kitchen and bathroom less sterile and to upgrade most of the furniture into a mixture of contemporary and vintage Italian and Japanese pieces. Very happy with how in the end all the plants turn it into something with a Brazilian vibe to it.

E.K. Duplex Penthouse Appartement

Entire furnishing of this penthouse in dialog with its present architecture and finishings. I chose warm minimal, yet playful stylish furniture, curtains, carpets and smaller objects.

There are ethnic elements in it reflecting the joyful character of the owner whom is an American woman whom decided to trade in San Francisco for Downtown Brussels.

Impact House

Collective office space on the edge of the European neighbourhood.

An intiative by Piet Colruyt for like-minded organizations that are active in an ecosystem to maximize the positive impact on people, society and the planet.

Four meeting rooms a spacious, well-equipped communal kitchen, yoga room and nice garden.

Ashoka, SI ² Fund, i-propeller, OksigenLab and Lita are the co-tenants.
